Our mission with Warriors For Tim is to promote awareness about the urgent need for organ and tissue donors. We hope that through widespread education each individual can make an informed descision about organ donation BEFORE being faced with an emergency situation and choose to give the GIFT of LIFE. We hope parents will talk with their children and help them to make an informed choice about organ donation. The wait is longer in general for children.

While our son Tim did receive a donor, his body had struggled for so long that he was not strong enough to make it through the surgery. We firmly believe that our son would be with us today if only a donor had been found sooner.

We are not alone in our grief. Each day nationwide 18 people die waiting for a transplant  before a donor becomes available to them. 

Warriors for Tim HAS REACHED IT'S FIRST HUGE GOAL!! with your help, we raised $100,000 for the Gift of Life Family House. Thank you!! We could not have done it without you. The money has been used to fund a fitness center in Tim's memory. We will continue to support the Family House by contributing to their Home Cook Heroes program among other programs. We have a new goal!! WFT now has partnered with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and created a "Warriors for Tim transplant Fund" that will help fund families facing the long and grueling transplant process.
